Who are you?
My real name is Dehlia and I'm a 19 yr. female from Denver, Colorado. Born and raised in the metro area but also spend time in New Mexico when I can (Santa Fe' and Albuquerque) I write, take pictures, travel, and expand my knowledge.
What's going on?
I start school this coming fall and will have a major in Photo-Journalism. I'm an unemployed, slacker artist for the moment but plan to work in print and online publications. I want to do free-lance journalism and film-making around the world.
What do you use?

For now I have a FinePix A700 made by FujiFilm. I use Corel Paint Shop Pro XI for photo editing and Windows Movie Maker for videos.
Pretty ghetto equipment, but I'll be graduating to something better soon.

So, what matters?
Bringing the world up to date in the form of imagery and inspiring words. Showing people the talent, joy, beauty, pain, turmoil, ignorance, and spirit of what is around them that they may not even know.
Why?
As a introverted person, verbal communication is not one of my strong points. I spend most of my time in my head and have always had a hard time expressing it outside of my own mind for others. Being able to sit and write it out or pick up a camera and capture an image that describes my very mood is the most satisfying feeling, I think, in the world. I've found that even others can connect to my deepest thoughts through what I take and write, and that is even better.
